Is NorthPole a bank?
No. NorthPole is a technology company. Regulated financial services — including deposit-holding and card issuing — are provided by licensed partners, and your funds are held with those partners rather than by NorthPole itself.
What do you charge for exchanging currencies?
The rate and the fee are both shown before you confirm, along with the exact amount that will arrive. You never have to work out the real cost after the fact.
Where can I use the virtual USD card?
On supported international merchants that accept virtual dollar cards — typically online subscriptions, software and digital services. Acceptance depends on the merchant and the card network.
What verification do I need to complete?
Identity verification is required before you can hold a balance or transact, because the licensed partners holding the funds are obliged to verify account holders. You will be asked for it during onboarding.
Can I use Money and Pay with one account?
Yes. One NorthPole account reaches all three products. You choose what you are here to do after signing in, and you can switch later.
