How NorthPole handles personal information when you use our products, contact us, or interact with the platform.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Your information

The information we need, and the reasons we need it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, complete a profile, contact support, submit verification information, create a business profile, or use a NorthPole product. This may include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, account credentials, identity verification information and business details.

We also collect information created as you use the platform, such as account activity, transaction references, device and browser information, IP address, session information, communications with support, and information needed to prevent fraud and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, maintain and improve NorthPole products;
  • create and secure accounts, sessions and transactions;
  • verify identity or business information where required;
  • detect, investigate and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • communicate about your account, transactions or support requests;
  • meet legal, regulatory and partner obligations; and
  • understand product performance and improve reliability.

We only use information for marketing where permitted by law and in line with your preferences. Service and security communications are necessary to operate your account and may still be sent when you opt out of promotional messages.

3. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where it is necessary to provide the service, meet a legal obligation, protect customers and the platform, or with your direction.

This may include licensed financial partners, identity verification providers, payment processors, cloud and communications providers, professional advisers and regulators or law enforcement where required by applicable law. Each recipient is given only the information needed for the stated purpose.

4. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal and regulatory retention obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. The period varies by record type and the reason it was collected.

NorthPole applies technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information, including secure session handling, access controls and security monitoring. No system can be completely secure, so please use a unique password, protect your transaction PIN and report suspected account compromise promptly. More detail is available on our Security page.

5. Your choices and rights

You can review and update certain profile information in your account settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of personal information we hold about you, or object to a particular processing activity.

Some information cannot be changed or deleted immediately when it is required for security, fraud prevention, transaction integrity or legal retention. We will explain the reason if a request cannot be completed in full.

6. International transfers

NorthPole and its providers may process information in Nigeria and other countries where we or our service providers operate. When information is transferred, we use safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the applicable legal requirements.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our products, practices or legal obligations change. For material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or another reasonable channel.

For privacy questions or to make a request about your personal information, contact us at support@northpoletradelink.net. You can also read our Terms of Use for the rules that govern use of the platform.

Account, identity and transaction information can be subject to financial-services and anti-fraud retention requirements. Closing an account does not necessarily remove records we must retain for those purposes.
