What you get
A terminal, a record, and a balance.
Accepting the payment is only half of it. POS also gives you the record of what you took and a balance you can actually use.
QR payments
Show a code, the customer scans with any bank app, and the sale confirms on your device before they leave the counter.
Tap-to-Pay
Contactless cards and phones tap against the back of a supported Android device. No terminal to buy, charge or carry.
Bank transfer
Each sale gets its own account number, so an incoming transfer is matched to the right sale automatically.
No hardware required
The phone already in your pocket is the terminal. Nothing to buy up front, nothing to replace when it breaks.
Daily totals
See what you took today, broken down by payment method, and export the record when you need it.
Staff-safe
Staff can take payments without seeing your balance or moving money out. Permissions are separate from ownership.
Who NorthPole POS is for.
Any business that gets paid in person — at a counter, at a door, or wherever the work happens.
Shops & counters
Stop chasing transfer screenshots
Each sale gets its own account number, so a transfer confirms itself. No squinting at a customer's phone to check whether the money arrived.
Mobile & delivery businesses
Take payment at the door
QR and Tap-to-Pay work wherever the phone works. Riders and field staff can collect without carrying a terminal or cash.
Services & professionals
Get paid on the spot
Enter the amount, let the customer scan or tap, and see it confirmed before the appointment ends.
Questions about NorthPole POS.
Do I need to buy a card machine?
No. NorthPole POS runs on a supported Android phone. QR and bank transfer work on any supported device; Tap-to-Pay additionally needs NFC hardware, which most modern Android phones have.
How do I know a bank transfer has actually arrived?
Each sale is issued its own one-time account number. When the transfer lands, NorthPole matches it to that sale and confirms it in the app — you never have to rely on a customer's screenshot.
Can my staff use it without accessing my money?
Yes. Taking a payment and moving money out are separate permissions, so staff can complete sales without seeing your balance or initiating transfers.
Where does the money go?
Into your NorthPole merchant balance, whichever method the customer used. From there it is available to spend, transfer or settle — the same balance NorthPole Pay settles into.
What happens if my internet drops mid-sale?
Payment confirmation requires a connection, because the confirmation comes from NorthPole rather than the device. The app tells you clearly whether a sale is confirmed, pending or failed, so you are never guessing.
